Mount Charleston is the one part of our map that is not desert. At elevation the houses see snow load, real freeze and thaw cycles, and a wildfire risk profile the valley never deals with. Materials and detailing that are fine in Las Vegas are the wrong answer up there.
We build for the mountain conditions: assemblies detailed for freeze and thaw, exterior choices made with fire exposure in mind, and a schedule that respects a season which is genuinely shorter.
